Most changes are subtle, but every overworld screen is affected (except one), along with every cave. Introduction added, which you can skip. Story timeframe changed so it is after Zelda 2, which doesn't really change anything. It makes more sense with the history of the Great Palace. Approximate town locations have been added to the world map as a house. Town improvements. More buildings, and certain towns have visual themes based on Zelda 2. Some bomb bag prices are reduced. Start with 3 heart container pieces, and first boss in minilevel 1 changed from heart container to heart container piece. You can now get your third heart container in the eastern desert before minilevel 1. Level 1 reminds you to go to New Kasuto first, and the bombable wall to buy the bomb bag upgrade now has cracks. Somebody in Kakariko mentions the best rupee farming location. Previously, you needed to know where the easiest location was in Zelda 1. When you wake the Guardian, you hear the Zelda 2 flute song before the area's music resumes and the statue wakes. Guardian (the ghoma you wake with the whistle) wakening and battle improvements, and statues no longer shoot fireballs afterwards. Lost woods emergency exit with the whistle starts the correct music (wrong dmap). Lost pass bombable cave exited in the wrong place on the screen. At the entrance to old king's tomb, added a falling animation based on Zelda 2. Shop near Island Temple exits to the correct place on the screen. Midoro Swamp music now repeats. You typically aren't in the swamp for long enough to notice since the warp is halfway through. North Castle, fixed the bait guy so he showed up. He spouts a little gibberish, but one of the three pallindromes contains the word bait. Level 9 warps warps to skip to 2nd floor and 3rd floor, blue and green bubbles no longer disappear. v0.99 (1/5/25) Tantari Cave bridge room hotfix NineTials (1/12/25) This is a large number of loose tiles, which were used for the v0.98 update of Nine Villages. Now anybody can use the tiles to randomize their overworld better. These include the randomness to the overworld that are modifications of Radien's BS Tileset tiles for: Dirt, sand, beach, rocks, grass, tall grass (with edging), waterline/shore, waterfalls, tiled cave floors, ladders, rock walls, earth walls, shrub walls, lava, house colors. New tiles are also included, such as the water wells, the fruit trees and berry bushes (which are a layer that can be applied on any plant tile), shrub and cactus flowers (same layer thing), ocean waves, swamp reeds, a new house type, one or two other things. v1.00 (1/13/25) wand game is easier. v0.98 had an unusual way to sneakily increase the odds, but it didn't end up changing them. now the front row is empty and another tile is changed. wand game explins the hint about dancing a little more clearly. it really does help. Level 9 the path to the third floor gets up if you ...
