Death Mountain Pass (ML-5) is a maze taken from Zelda 2. There is an overworld half and a cave half. There are short caves outside of this map, but they are straight paths. Each set of stairs between the two halves are noted with a letter/number, and there is a quick reference of which stairs are connected inside the caves.
Two notes. There is a HCP in the far southwest corner of the overworld half, a little out of the way but easy enough to get. There is also a second exit leading to the Secret Pass, but it requires the hammer. Once you have the hammer, there is no need to go through this way to the Secret Pass, it was left in simply to match the caves from Zelda 2.
