Overworld Heart Container Pieces (find 24): HCP Cave - Long Block Puzzle, northwest branch, north at second branch. HCP Cave - Enemies, northwest branch, east at second branch. You don't need to kill them, just sneak past them. HCP Cave - Bosses, northeast branch, two boss rooms. HCP Cave - Basement 1, west branch requires bracelet, go left and into the maze. Enter in the south center, but too complex to describe, see the map. HCP Cave - Basement 2, west branch requires bracelet, go right and into the lava raft maze. Too complex to describe, see the map. HCP Cave - East Block Puzzle, east branch requires power glove, into the blind maze. Too complex to describe, see the map. Past 01 - Sitting in plain view, but need to push a very heavy block (power glove) and use a superbomb. Past 61 - Sitting in plain view, but need to go into a cave at 51, which you can only get to from up the mountian. Enter the cave on screen 41 to get there. Past 32 - In stairs behind a statue. See Level 5-1 for statues. Past 17 - Under a brown bush. There's a few Stalfos3 inside, but you can deal with this few of them by now. Present 51 - Sitting in plain view, but need to go through the mountain caves to get to. There's a bombable wall in the southern part of the cave system. Present 72 - In a cave, but you need to use a superbomb to go inside. Then it's just five straight rooms of block puzzles. Present 43 - Sitting in plain view, but behind a statue. See Level 5-1 for statues. Present 74 - Under a brown bush. Prepare yourself, because this cave leads to a crowded multi-boss fight, hard bosses. Present 07 - In a cave, but you need to use a superbomb to go inside. Present 7C - Dive for the item in one of the dark spots near the middle. Future 01 - Sitting in plain sight, but you need to go through the caves to get to. There's a bombale wall in the cave system's large chamber. Future 56 - Sitting in plain sight, but you need to push a heavy rock to get to. Future 47 - In a cave. Just a bomb will do, but you can't reach it until you have the bow and arrows. Future 29 - In an open cave. Prepare yourself, because this cave leads to a crowded multi-boss fight, but easy bosses. Future 5A - Kill an invisible Aquamentus to open the staircase. You can get here after beating the second level in the future. Prepare yourself, because this cave leads to a crowded multi-boss fight, medium bosses. Future 7A - Push a heavy block to get here, and then push one of the graves. There are a large number of coffins, find the two keys in the north of the western large room and the east of the northern large room. Future 7A - In the same grave as above, there's a bombable wall. You can see the chest containing this one on your way to the first piece, and it's pretty obvious where to bomb. Future 2D - There's a raft dock in 2C that's behind a brown bush, which leads to an isolated island. You can get there with the flippers too.
Town HCPs (find 6): ? 03 - Sacred Cave Boss. You have to kill the evil wizards in the cave. If you were hoping to wait until you beat a few more dungeons, the wizards gain strength from the town twice by the time you get to level 7. You must kill them before you can even get to the locations listed below. Future 07 - Future Town East Overlook. This is simple enough, you might have seen this sitting around if you've already explored the jungle. Now, you'll finally be able to exit the town to the east to get it, and you can get it right away. Present 06 - Castle Basement. The room with all the tablets of text, one of them is bombable. It leads to the chest you can't reach from the stairs into the basement. Present 06 - Castle Long Dive. Use the flippers to dive at the waterfall in the castle, and don't think about what they use this for. You'll have to dodge some traps along the way. Present 25 - Town Waterfall South. Use the flippers to swim in the river that splits the town. This is the only time there aren't rocks blocking you from swimming south, so check it out. Present 04 - Arena. This takes time and money. Killing the Sacred Cave Boss is only the first part of the side quest. This is the only reward you have to get further into the side quest to get.
